imo voting is broken by diebold/cia and citizens united decision. People should boycott voting to drive this point home. When voting is fixed, then start voting again.
Ideally, voting should be voluntary but if participation drops below certain thresholds then options for reorganization, from redistricting to constitutional changes, should be invoked. But I assume all that is for after the Great Reckoning.
Currently, even if you do get the "opposition" in there, all they do is listen to and obey the gangsters and only go as far as making rude gestures if the gangsters temporarily leave the room, which admittedly is better than nothing, but not much.
Nevertheless non-violent resistance is the most effective way to effect change, and a key part of that are legal challenges and prosecutions. The proof of that is the lawsuit against mask mandates on transportation that was successful.
